Tips for Scoring Well:

Passage 

The Industrial Revolution, which began in the 18th century, marked a major turning point in history. It introduced new manufacturing processes, replacing manual labor with machines. However, the Industrial Revolution had its downsides. Harsh working conditions in factories, child labor, and environmental pollution became widespread. Workers often faced long hours with minimal pay and little regard for safety. Despite these challenges, the revolution paved the way for technological advancements and economic growth, laying the foundation for modern industrial societies. 

In conclusion, the Industrial Revolution was a period of immense change that reshaped economies and societies. While it brought progress, it also highlighted the need for reforms to ensure equitable and sustainable development.
